Avowed launched on PS5 alongside a large Anniversary Update that adds New Game+, photo mode, new character options, and gameplay additions. The Anniversary Update is the final scheduled update and the largest since release. New Game+ allows players to carry over abilities, spent attribute points, unique weapons, armor, and enchantments into a new save with a higher attribute cap and tougher enemies.
