Ubisoft will release a free DLC for Assassin's Creed Mirage later this year that adds a new story chapter, quests, and gameplay improvements and introduces a new 9th-century AlUla location distinct from Mirage's Baghdad setting. The expansion will be free for players who own Mirage, with additional details to be announced closer to launch. Ubisoft will also release Claws of Awaji, the first expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows, adding over ten hours of content including a new region, story chapter, weapons, abilities, outfits, legendary gear, a new enemy faction, and bosses, launching September 14 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. Mirage originally released October 5, 2023 and was later ported to iPhone and iPad and added to Xbox Game Pass.
