Activision Already Booting COD Cheaters In Black Ops 7 Beta
"Players have been sharing clips of the myriad cheaters they've encountered, many of whom are using cheats to see through walls and get instant kills. One video, posted to X on October 2 by user HateToSeeMeComing, demonstrated the aimbot and wallhack they used to get the drop on unsuspecting players. Meanwhile, streamer Stodeh shared a clip on the same day of a random player folks in chat claimed was cheating since "hour 0." It looked like his team was getting crushed by this cheater."
"Cheaters aren't new in Call of Duty, as Activision and its anti-cheat team Ricochet have fought against them since forever at this point. Black Ops 7 will feature stronger, more robust anti-cheat measures to curb the chaos. While it appears to be working as intended, the team has more planned for when the military shooter drops on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on November 14."
Early-access players are encountering numerous cheaters in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's beta, including users employing aimbots and wallhacks to see through walls and score instant kills. Clips from accounts such as HateToSeeMeComing and streamer Stodeh show suspected cheaters dominating matches. The Call of Duty Updates account confirmed at least one caught account has been banned, and Activision told Dexerto that multiple other accounts have been removed. Activision's anti-cheat team Ricochet has long combated cheating, and Black Ops 7 will introduce stronger anti-cheat measures. The open beta continues ahead of the November 14 release across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
