Developer BetaDwarf has announced its new game Vaultbreakers, a hardcore top-down PvPvE ARPG, previously known as Project F4E. Set in a dynamic world rich with tactical challenges and unpredictable events, the game emphasizes player skill and adaptability. Players can join a closed playtest starting January 31, where they'll experience the narrative campaign and earn Legacy Points for future rewards. The team's passion for extraction mechanics inspired this venture, filling a gap in the market, as existing shooters did not appeal to them.
The game is set in an evolving world that challenges players to think tactically, adapt dynamically, and battle fiercely, offering a fresh new multiplayer ARPG experience.
Many of us in the team love the extraction game's mechanics, but all of them are currently shooters... we decided to make our own!
