Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection is a 3D remake using the engine for upcoming action-RPG Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant. Resurrection is set to launch sometime in 2024, but before Revenant does.
The game follows Tama, a former rogue whose task was to escort the priestess Koko through a continental pilgrimage. However, Koko dies, and Tama carries her to the Necromancer's crypt, where a power to resurrect the dead supposedly lies deep in there. Tama ventures into the crypt in order to obtain the power and bring her back to life.
