Visionary Broadband has acquired Montana-based MTWeb to enhance its service offerings in Whitehall and nearby areas, reflecting its ongoing commitment to improving internet reliability and speed for Montana residents. CEO Brian Worthen emphasizes retaining the local MTWeb team, highlighting their expertise as valuable to Visionary's growth. This acquisition marks Visionary's second of the year, after taking over Mountain Broadband in January, as part of a broader strategy that includes a $100 million investment to enhance fiber internet connectivity across multiple states, aiming to impact numerous communities positively.
With this acquisition, we can bring faster, more reliable internet to even more Montana residents," Visionary Broadband CEO Brian Worthen said in the announcement of the MTWeb acquisition.
This was the second acquisition this year for Visionary Broadband. In mid-January, the company acquired Mountain Broadband, a service provider in Colorado.
