Time2Build is a global developer challenge requiring integration of the Breez SDK into existing open-source projects to embed Lightning Network Bitcoin payments. The challenge offers a $25,000 prize pool in Bitcoin and residencies at Draper University and PlebLab, with top prizes of $7,000, $3,500, and $1,000 plus residencies. Submissions must be merged into production by project maintainers; eligible projects must use FOSS licenses, have active communities, and serve real users. The contest runs October 7–November 15, 2025, with a merge period to December 16 and winners announced January 8, 2026. Over 40 developer communities worldwide will host meetups.
