Startale Group announced the second close of its Series A funding round, raising $50 million from SBI Group, totaling $63 million. This follows an initial $13 million investment from Sony Innovation Fund. The funding will accelerate the development of Strium, a blockchain for tokenized securities, and the JPYSC stablecoin. Startale aims to serve over 80 million customers within the SBI ecosystem and expand its Superapp. Future plans include scaling settlement frameworks for Asian capital markets and integrating fiat-to-crypto solutions.
