SpaceX launches 4 people into orbit on Axiom Space Ax-4 mission
Briefly

Axiom Space's fourth mission saw a crew of four launched into orbit aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Kennedy Space Center. Following multiple delays due to weather and technical issues, the crew, led by renowned astronaut Peggy Whitson, represents the first government-sponsored flights for their countries in over 40 years. The mission underscores the growing role of private companies in space exploration and the collaboration of international space agencies and governments in expanding human presence in space.
Every crew brings something new to the table. I've been incredibly impressed by the dedication and the work ethic and the passion of this team. It's been a joy to train alongside them, and I'm looking forward to seeing them in microgravity. It's going to be fun.
The mission was then delayed for nearly two weeks as NASA and its Russian space station partner, Roscosmos, investigated a leak on the station's Zvedzda service module, one that has previously been repaired and monitored by flight controllers for years.
