KRING exits TestaViva in founder-led transaction
"The early customers confirmed the need, but the collaboration with KRING made it possible to think bigger and create peace of mind for many more people,"
"The first 1,000 customers showed that the market was there. Venture building is about what comes next, structure, partnerships and execution at scale. TestaViva is a strong example of what can happen when those elements come together,"
KRING exited TestaViva in a transaction that leaves founders and management as majority owners alongside Dansk Ejerkapital. TestaViva is a digital legal platform that has helped more than 150,000 people in Denmark with wills, inheritance, powers of attorney, and other complex legal matters. TestaViva originated from a co-creation between Michael Lauritzen and KRING, motivated by Lauritzen's personal experience with legal complexity for families. An early product, Sikkerarv, attracted over 1,000 customers and validated demand for simple digital legal services. KRING's venture-building support provided organisational structuring, strategic partnerships with financial institutions, and recruitment of external leadership to scale the business.
