An unidentified man on a moped hit a 69-year-old woman on West 72nd Street, then veered into a Citi Bike rack. The driver fled, leaving the unregistered moped behind.
Bystanders mentioned the woman was visiting from Austin, Texas, and wore a pink shirt. She was conscious and in stable condition in the hospital after the incident.
