Elio is an AI-powered skincare system designed by Korean industrial designer Taehyeong Kim. The device is compact and rounded, with a curved neck, a circular front display, a small nozzle below the screen, and a flat base tray. Its top lid opens to a slot labeled “INSERT CAPSULE.” The design uses familiar coffee-machine cues, including a single glowing green button, to reduce friction from clinical-looking skincare devices. It scans skin in real time, reads conditions, and dispenses a custom-formulated serum through capsule delivery. The circular display shows analysis results and flags oiliness or redness.
