Innovating the Workspace: Crafting a Home Office Solution with Spacious, Adjustable, and Movable...
"So, let's talk about the main point and introduce the home office space topic. Every user's home office is different, but they all have one thing in common, Desire to create a better space. Spend more good time and work there. But somehow we have no space at home, we work at the kitchen table, sofa, or bedroom because of lack of space."
"In this section, I will share with you the final product that I have created: an ergonomically crafted, minimalist, and adjustable desk full of hidden storage. I attempted to follow the design thinking process or framework, which talked of five important phases: interviewing the users, defining problems at hand, ideating solutions for these problems, then creating scribbles for one idea."
Many people work in cramped or multipurpose rooms and often use kitchen tables, sofas, or bedrooms due to lack of dedicated office space. The designed desk is ergonomic, minimalist, adjustable, spacious, movable, and incorporates hidden storage to support varied home office needs. The design process followed five phases: user interviews, problem definition, ideation, sketching a chosen concept, and collecting feedback for refinement. The prototype aims to enhance cleanliness, adjustability, and user comfort while maximizing functionality in small spaces. The desk seeks to accommodate a large number of users by offering adaptable solutions for different home office configurations.
