In designing the 'World Building Workshop,' we aimed to facilitate discussions on how to strengthen connections across different movements. Recognizing that many organizers work within defined struggles, our goal was to encourage cross-pollination of ideas and strategies. The reality is that while we see the interconnectedness of struggles conceptually, the on-ground experience often feels fragmented. By nurturing these interrelationships, we can enrich our collective action.
At the Socialism Conference, we highlighted the importance of building supportive infrastructures for new organizers. With the current global mobilization for Palestine, creating spaces for inclusive dialogue is critical. We want to ensure that participants not only share their experiences but also learn from the various approaches to organizing being employed around the world. This mutual learning is vital for sustainable movement building.
