Figma wishlist 2025
Briefly

At Tinloof, Figma is the primary design tool, but specific features are lacking that would enhance workflow efficiency. The absence of native z-axis and 3D transforms in Figma is highlighted as a critical gap, forcing reliance on plugins or alternative tools. This limitation prevents designers from utilizing basic CSS properties like rotate3d or scaleZ easily in their design phase. Additionally, the inability to rearrange mode orders in variable collections creates workflow challenges. The wishlist compiled for Figma seeks essential and enhancement features to address these concerns, optimizing the design process.
The lack of native z-axis and 3D transforms in Figma compels designers to depend on plugins, hindering creative possibilities and complicating workflows.
Adding native z-axis transform controls to Figma would fill significant gaps in our toolkit, giving designers necessary spatial tools found in standard CSS.
Once modes are created in a Figma variable collection, their order is fixed, which can evolve from a minor annoyance to a major workflow issue.
Our wishlist for Figma includes must-have features to tackle fundamental workflow limitations and nice-to-have enhancements that would further polish an already effective tool.
