Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm presented Workform, a collaboration between final-year Product Design students and professional companies, showcasing innovative furniture designs at Stockholm Design Week. This year, the theme was 'sitting', emphasizing inclusive and flexible seating for diverse users, including children and the elderly. Notable designs included Pulse, with adjustable heights aimed at facilitating community interaction, Hub, which offers a homely feel and adaptability for various spaces, and JUUNI, designed for active sitting. These projects highlight the importance of user-centric design in contemporary public and private spaces.
The Pulse chair offers three seat heights, allowing for children, adults, and older folks to sit in public with ease, promoting conversation and community.
Hub provides a warm, home-like feeling, utilizing a versatile design that transitions seamlessly from office to home, with multiple cushion options.
