I cannot email them. I cannot communicate through local counsel because the Eswatini government blocks all attorney access, he said in a statement provided to Reuters news agency."
"Amid its mass deportation push, the Trump administration has increasingly relied on sending deportees to third countries when they cannot legally send them to their homeland. Rights advocates have challenged the practice, fearing it can leave those expelled stranded in countries where they do not speak the language and may not be afforded due process. The Trump administration has also sent third country deportees to South Sudan, Ghana, and Rwanda."
The United States sent a second third-country deportation flight to Eswatini, with Eswatini confirming receipt of ten deportees who were not kingdom nationals. That followed five deportees sent in July. The White House said the individuals had committed serious crimes. A US immigration lawyer reported arrivals included people from Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia. Rights groups said the earlier group included people from Vietnam, Jamaica, Laos, Cuba, and Yemen and alleged solitary confinement and denial of lawyer access. The lawyer said he represents some deportees but cannot communicate with them because Eswatini blocks attorney access. The US has also sent deportees to South Sudan, Ghana, and Rwanda. Advocates warn third-country deportations can leave people stranded and without due process.
