Economic assertions included a false claim that inflation has stopped despite inflation near 3 percent and rising for months; a false claim of inheriting historically unprecedented inflation when January inflation was about 3 percent and the recent peak was roughly a 40-year high rather than a 48-year high or the historical maximum above 23 percent. A claimed list of eight ended wars included diplomatic disputes and non-wars, such as the Egypt–Ethiopia Nile dam dispute, the Serbia–Kosovo situation that did not become a war during the presidency, and a mischaracterized Congo–Rwanda matter.
