Trump says he'll decide in "next 10 days" whether to bomb Iran
""Now we may have to take it a step further or we may not. Maybe we are going to make a deal [with Iran]. You are going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days,""
""a meaningful deal, otherwise bad things will happen.""
Trump convened his top advisers to review the crisis with Iran and was briefed on nuclear talks held earlier this week in Geneva. The group discussed next steps and Trump said the talks went well but insisted Iran must make a meaningful deal or face consequences. U.S. officials said the Iranians need to return to the administration by the end of the month with a package of steps addressing U.S. concerns raised in Geneva. U.S. officials also said the arrival of the USS Ford and its strike group in the Eastern Mediterranean will factor heavily into timing of any possible military campaign against Iran.
