Trump Says He Doesn't Like Kid Rock Idea of Meeting Bill Maher at WH Then Says He's Meeting Bill Maher at WH: Maybe I'll Be Proven Wrong?'
Briefly

President Donald Trump announced his upcoming meeting with Bill Maher at the White House, a request initiated by musician Kid Rock. Trump expressed his reluctance, criticizing Maher’s past comments about him, particularly his use of the term 'Trump Devotion Syndrome' to describe sycophantic supporters of the former president. Trump feels that even if Maher acknowledges any positive aspects about him, he will still publicly criticize him. Despite his doubts about the meeting, Trump intends to proceed, saying it could be fun and is simply doing a favor for a friend.
I got a call from a very good guy, and friend of mine, Kid Rock, asking me whether or not it would be possible for me to meet, in the White House, with Bill Maher... I really didn't like the idea much, and don't like it much now, but thought it would be interesting.
The problem is, no matter how much he likes your Favorite President, ME, he will publicly proclaim what a terrible guy I am... very much like the Democrats at my recent Address to the Joint Session of Congress.
In any event, I'm doing a favor for a friend. I look forward to meeting with Bill Maher, Kid Rock and, I believe, even the Legendary Dana White will be present.
