Trump Burger owner in Texas faces deportation after Ice arrest
Briefly

Roland Mehrez Beainy, owner of Trump Burger, was detained by immigration authorities for overstaying his visa. Entering the US from Lebanon in 2019, he was required to leave by February 2024. Beainy applied for legal status after marrying, but the Department of Homeland Security reported a lack of evidence he lived with his spouse. After his arrest on May 16, Beainy was placed in immigration proceedings and denied the charges against him. He is set for a hearing in immigration court on November 18.
Roland Mehrez Beainy, 28, entered the US as a non-immigrant visitor from Lebanon in 2019 and was supposed to have left the country by 12 February 2024.
Ice officers arrested Beainy on 16 May five years after he launched Trump Burger and placed him into immigration proceedings.
The agency maintained there is no proof Beainy ever lived with his alleged wife during their purported marriage.
Beainy denied Ice's charges against him, stating: Ninety percent of the shit they're saying is not true.
