The poll also showed 32% believe the economy is better and 18% see no change. Trump did not directly address unemployment or inflation in response to the numbers and instead blamed Fox pollsters, telling Rupert Murdoch to get a new pollster. Trump argued that bringing car production and factories back to the United States and using tariffs will trigger a manufacturing boom that he expects within a year.
