ESPN confirmed that ‘ESPN, Colin Kaepernick and Spike Lee have collectively decided to no longer proceed with this project as a result of certain creative differences.’
Lee stated, ‘it's not coming out. That's all I can say.’
Originally announced in February 2022, the documentary titled Da Saga of Colin Kaepernick aimed to explore the experiences of Black athletes more broadly.
