Donald Trump denied being on Epstein's plane or island in January 2024, blaming AI and political opponents for reports. DOJ documents, including flight logs and emails, show federal prosecutors determined in January 2020 that Trump had been a passenger on Jeffrey Epstein's private jet far more often than previously realized. Many of the flights occurred during the period when charges could be brought in the Maxwell case. Prosecutors noted the plane's use included transporting a minor for illegal sex acts. Trump's name appears over 100 times in the released files, and a White House official said Trump was never contacted by law enforcement about those interactions.
