Prosecutors allege that Montague posted a "profanity-laced" message on Truth Social on June 27, in which he threatened to shoot and kill Trump, Bondi, and Miller.
Montague allegedly confessed to making the threats to agents before they explained who they were or why they were approaching him.
According to investigators, he does not own or have access to any weapons, nor did he have plans or the means to travel to conduct violence.
