Rep. Jim Himes says he learned about U.S. attack on Iran on social media
Briefly

Rep. Jim Himes expressed concerns over the Trump administration's refusal to communicate with Congress regarding military action in Iran, noting he learned of the strikes via social media. Despite Trump’s long-stated aim to avoid another Middle East conflict, the U.S. initiated strikes in the Israel-Iran conflict. Trump announced a ceasefire on social media shortly after the attacks. Vice President JD Vance commented on the situation, suggesting the Iranians are reluctant to continue fighting, while Trump criticized both Israel and Iran for their actions during the conflict.
My Republican counterpart, Rick Crawford, the chairman of the committee, was informed prior to the raid but I, the Democrat, was not.
I think the Iranians are at a place where they don't want to keep on fighting.
What the Iranians have showed through their support of terror networks, through their now-failed effort to build a nuclear weapon, is that they're just not very good at war.
We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f*** they're doing.
