Mark Levin lauded the administration's operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and thanked President Trump and U.S. military and national security agencies. Maduro was apprehended with his wife and charged in federal court in New York with narco-terrorism conspiracy, weapons charges, and cocaine-importation conspiracy. Many on the left criticized the action and questioned U.S. claims about running Venezuela temporarily. Levin reposted legal scholar Eugene Kontorovich, who argued the capture did not violate international law because the U.S. has not recognized Maduro as legitimate since a 2019 election viewed as rigged. Levin called critics ignorant and labeled their stance 'pure evil.'
