The U.S. Department of Justice opened an investigation into the Portland Police Bureau for alleged discrimination against conservative counter-protesters at a local ICE facility following arrests during clashes. Portland denies the discrimination claims and accuses federal officers of repeatedly using excessive force against protesters and showing favoritism toward conservative online streamers.
