We are extremely disappointed in the way this budget turns its back on the long-standing practice of pay raise parity for civilian and military employees of the federal government.
The average 2 percent federal pay raise in the president's proposed 2025 budget is unacceptable. Federal employees are the backbone of our country, yet they continue to be underpaid.
