Out Rep. Robert Garcia leads Dems in Epstein email release, which appears to reveal more Trump connections
"In one email from 2011, Epstein wrote to his convicted sex trafficking accomplice Ghislane Maxwell that Trump was the "dog that hasn't barked," adding that Trump had spent "house at my house" with one of the alleged trafficking victims."
"Another email to Trump biographer Michael Wolff from Epstein reads, "of course [Trump] knew about the girls as he asked Ghislane to stop.""
""If he says he hasn't been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt," Wolff wrote."
Senate Democrats released a batch of emails from the Jeffrey Epstein estate that reference Donald Trump and his interactions with alleged trafficking victims. A 2011 email from Epstein to Ghislane Maxwell calls Trump the "dog that hasn't barked" and says Trump spent "house at my house" with an alleged victim. An email to Michael Wolff asserts Trump knew about the girls and asked Ghislane to stop. Wolff advised using Trump's denials for PR or political leverage. The documents are part of 23,000 under review; The Advocate has not independently verified them. Trump has denied close ties and notes distance after Epstein hired spa employees; Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial. The White House called the stories "bad-faith efforts" to distract from presidential accomplishments.
