A handwritten letter attributed to Jeffrey Epstein and addressed to Larry Nassar was released among thousands of pages in a DOJ tranche labeled Data Set 8. The letter, dated days before Epstein's suicide, states that Epstein, Nassar and the president shared "love of young, nubile girls" and contrasts alleged behavior. The letter does not name the president explicitly. The DOJ warned that some released documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump and did not identify specific files. Trump has denied involvement or knowledge of Epstein's crimes and says the friendship ended in the mid-2000s. The documents were released by the Department of Justice on December 23, 2025.
