"In a message addressed to Epstein on October 29, 2016 reported on by The Miami Heralds Julie Brown, author Michael Wolff wrote: There's an opportunity to come forward this week and talk about Trump in such a way that could garner you great sympathy and help finish him. Interested? The election, which Trump prevailed in, was held a little over a week later, on Tuesday, November 8."
"I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn't been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt."
House Oversight Committee emails show Michael Wolff suggested on October 29, 2016 that Jeffrey Epstein could come forward to talk about Donald Trump to garner sympathy and "finish him." The message arrived days before the November 8, 2016 election, which Trump won. The email was part of roughly 20,000 pages of documents released by Republicans on the committee. Earlier releases included a December 2015 exchange in which Wolff advised Epstein to "let him hang himself" or alternatively save Trump to create a debt. Epstein later referenced Trump and allegations about girls in a 2019 email.
