""I think Casey Wasserman needs to step down,""
""Having him represent us on the world stage distracts focus from our athletes and the enormous effort needed to prepare for 2028,""
""drive a man wild,""
""long before her horrific crimes came to light.""
Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn called for LA 2028 chairman Casey Wasserman to resign after Justice Department investigative files on Jeffrey Epstein included personal emails between Wasserman and Ghislaine Maxwell. The emails from March and April 2003 show Wasserman asking about booking a massage and wanting to see Maxwell in a tight leather outfit; Maxwell offered a massage that could "drive a man wild" and the pair discussed missing each other. Wasserman, who was married at the time, expressed regret, saying the correspondence occurred "long before her horrific crimes came to light." Wasserman denied any personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
