Department of Homeland Security leadership vowed to identify and prosecute anyone who attacks federal law enforcement, emphasizing consequences for such behavior in a video with ICE agents. White House aide Stephen Miller called for using full federal power to dismantle what he described as a growing movement of leftwing terrorism. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said the administration gave an ultimatum to call up troops or have the federal government do so and called the demand outrageous and un-American.
