Leavitt said Democrats selectively chose emails and leaked them to the media in an effort to embarrass the president."
"Leavitt noted that the redacted name in the emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, an alleged Epstein victim who long maintained she never saw Trump take part in Epstein's crimes. They go on to argue things that we know they have in the past, which is that the president had long ago kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago club, calling him a creep and all of that that they have highlighted."

The released messages do not accuse the president of any criminal wrongdoing. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Democrats of selectively leaking and highlighting certain emails to the liberal media to smear and embarrass the president. Leavitt pointed out the redacted name corresponds to Virginia Giuffre, who has maintained she never saw Trump participate in Epstein’s crimes. Epstein died in 2019; Ghislaine Maxwell is serving 20 years.
