Jasmine Crockett named multiple Republicans and GOP organizations as recipients of donations from an individual named Jeffrey Epstein, listing Mitt Romney, the NRCC, Lee Zeldin, George Bush, WinRed, McCain-Palin and Rick Lazio. Lee Zeldin responded on X that his donor was physician Dr. Jeffrey Epstein and not the late sex offender. Crockett said she did not intend to imply the donor was the infamous Epstein, noted donation records lack photos, and said her team quickly searched the records online. The timing coincided with an effort to censure Del. Stacey Plaskett over 2019 texts with Epstein; Epstein died in 2019.
