Kaitlan Collins Confronts Republican Senator With Wild AI Video From Trump: Is That Appropriate?'
"Flanked by Jeffries wearing a sombrero as mariachi music played, AI Schumer said, among other things, that if we give all these illegal aliens free healthcare, we might be able to get them on our side so they can vote for us. They can't even speak English so they won't realize we're just a bunch of woke pieces of sh*t, you know?"
"While interviewing Marshall, Collins aired a snippet of the video, stating, I wanna get your reaction to what the president posted. Look guys, there's no way to sugarcoat it, AI Schumer said. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all of our woke, trans bullsh*t. Not even black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us."
"Look, I think sometimes the president plays with the press like a little boy and a flashlight and a dog, Marshall replied. And he's shining the flashlight here, and he's shining it there. What he's saying is, this offer from the Democrats is ridiculous: $1.5 trillion on top of funding that they already agreed to, that what they're asking for is completely ridiculous. It's disingenuous."
President Donald Trump posted an AI-altered video showing Sen. Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries after their White House meeting to avoid a government shutdown. The clip added Jeffries wearing a sombrero, mariachi music and a fabricated voice for Schumer making offensive remarks about immigrants, people of color and Democrats' voter base. CNN's Kaitlan Collins pressed Sen. Roger Marshall about the post and aired a snippet of the altered video. Marshall criticized the Democrats' funding offer as "ridiculous" and called the proposal disingenuous while minimizing the president's use of the manipulated clip.
