Joe Rogan Argues With Producer After Insisting Fake AI Video of Tim Walz Is 100% Real'
"Vernon: No, it's not real. Rogan: Yes, it's real. Vernon: No, it's not. Rogan: Yes, it is. Vernon: It's AI-generated. Rogan: No, no, no. It's real. Vernon: No, look, I can tell it's not real. Rogan: I love it. It's real. It's gotta be real. It has to be real. Dillon: Jamie's compromised. Rogan: Look at him dancing. That is so real, Jamie. Rogan insisted, He slaps his ass. Definitely him. This is 100% real, Jamie."
"You know what's really fun? When someone is in that whole race and running for president or vice president, and then the race is over and they realize that person was a liability, so they cut them off and then that person goes wacky like Tim Walz, said Rogan during an interview with comedian Tim Dillon. Did you see where he had a F*** Trump' shirt on and he's dancing and going down an elevator? Have you seen this video?"
Joe Rogan repeatedly insisted that a clip of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz dancing was authentic and pressed producer Jamie Vernon to find the video. Vernon identified the clip as AI-generated and pointed to a caption labeling it as such, but Rogan continued to argue that the footage was real. Rogan described Walz as wearing a profane anti-Trump shirt, dancing down an elevator, and even slapping his rear. Rogan said he and others, including Riley Moore, had fallen for the fake clip because he believed Walz was capable of such behavior.
