ICE agents and DHS vans conducted enforcement actions in San Jose with observers reporting at least one arrest while withholding individual details. Agents were seen around 8 a.m. at the ISAP office in South San Jose where people check in for immigration-related appointments, and residents reported possible sightings elsewhere in the city. The Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network was present and documented activity. Community members and city leaders rallied at City Hall and urged a City Council Rules Committee to adopt a policy preventing law enforcement, including ICE, from concealing identities during operations, emphasizing civil liberties and community organizing.
