House Democrat Says He's Teaming Up With Republican for Explosive' Epstein Presser This Week Including Victims Speaking Out for First Time
Briefly

Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie plan a September 3 press conference on the Capitol steps with ten Jeffrey Epstein victims, many speaking publicly for the first time. Those victims will call for the full release of Department of Justice files related to Epstein to achieve closure. The House returns Tuesday after a recess exceeding 40 days. House leader Mike Johnson sent the chamber into early recess on July 22 to avoid a vote on a resolution that would compel the file release. Khanna expects the resolution to pass, reporting all 212 Democrats committed and Massie securing 12 Republicans, with a petition launching September 2.
What will be explosive is the September 3rd press conference that both of us are having with 10 Epstein victims, many who have never spoken out before, Khanna said. They're going to be on the steps of the Capitol. They will be telling their story, and they will be saying clearly to the American public that they want the release of the Epstein files for full closure on this matter.
Do you think when Congress is back the bill will go to the floor and it will pass? Welker asked. I'm very confident it will, Khanna said. I spoke to Congressman Massie. You had us both on a few weeks ago. We will have the petition live on September 2nd. We have all 212 Democrats committed to signing it. He has 12 Republicans. Watch above, via NBC.
