Families reported that guards stormed rooms searching for such items and destroyed what they found, including belongings of a developmentally disabled 15-year-old with the intellectual capacity of a seven-year-old. Staff actions appear retaliatory toward families who documented conditions. Hundreds of children have been detained at the facility.
