Google has removed the names of more than 50 DEI groups from its funding list for 2024, following a watchdog report. This list, curated by Google's U.S. Government Affairs and Public Policy team, no longer includes 58 DEI organizations, such as the Latino Leadership Alliance and the ACLU of Illinois. These changes align with the Trump administration's instructions to minimize the use of language related to race and diversity. Google has also discontinued diversity hiring goals and removed related terms from its various web platforms and filings.
