The Freemasons of Ireland expressed regret over hosting a controversial interview between Conor McGregor and Tucker Carlson. Following the booking at their Dublin venue, the Grand Secretary informed members that the organization would have disallowed the event had they known the identity of the participants. The Freemasons have since pledged to donate the fees received for the event to charity and announced a revision of their event booking protocols to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
The Freemasons of Ireland categorically denies any association with the interviewer or interviewee and regrets that such an interview took place on our premises.
We apologises [sic] to our members and confirm that steps have been taken to avoid a recurrence.
