Congress is moving toward a vote to compel release of US government files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Democratic oversight committee members, including Suhas Subramanyam, requested that Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor sit for a deposition about the government's handling of the Epstein case. Prince Andrew has not responded to the request and was accused of hiding from investigators. King Charles previously removed his royal title amid concerns over his friendship with Epstein and an allegation by Virginia Giuffre that she was trafficked by Epstein. The committee's Republican leader released more than 20,000 emails from Epstein's estate showing continued contacts between Prince Andrew and the financier.
