On June 30, Davis Bahrami called 911 making threats against his family. No crisis team was sent due to previous safety concerns. Officers attempted to communicate with Bahrami for de-escalation. Despite immediate medical aid, Bahrami died at the scene. The officers involved are on paid administrative leave while investigations continue.

Body camera footage revealed that Bahrami pulled a knife and charged at officers, prompting them to use lethal force after attempts to de-escalate.
