Congressman Reveals Epstein Estate Will Hand Over Book Containing Trump Birthday Message
Briefly

The estate of Jeffrey Epstein will provide previously unreleased documents to Congress, including a 2003 album of well-wishes for Epstein's 50th birthday and the book containing a birthday note and doodle from Donald Trump. The birthday message featured a drawing of a nude woman and the line, 'Happy Birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret.' Epstein died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019. The Department of Justice will not release its Epstein-related files, including any alleged client list. Earlier claims that a client list rested with a state Attorney General were later retracted, leaving questions about other withheld documents.
Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) broke some news on Friday's All In on MSNBC, where he said the estate of Jeffrey Epstein will produce several documents that have not been made public. That includes an album of well-wishes for Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003. Epstein, a sex trafficker and former friend of President Donald Trump, died of suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019, according to officials.
Speculation about Trump and Epstein reignited after the president's Department of Justice said it would not be releasing its files regarding Epstein or his alleged client list. That decision angered many Trump supporters, who had long hoped he would release the files and possibly out several famous people as sex pests. In February, Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed Epstein's client list was sitting on her desk, but she now claims there is no such list.
