Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed by a single gunshot at a Utah university event. Authorities recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle that they believe was the weapon used and reported having images of the suspect. Investigators described the gathering as a targeted event and said a manhunt is underway with uncertain suspect whereabouts. US President Donald Trump blamed what he called "the radical left" and announced plans to posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
