Bianca Gracia Wildly Steals Spotlight At WH Press Briefing
"This week the Democrats have chosen illegals over hardworking Hispanic Americans during Hispanic Heritage Month, causing the White House to cancel the celebration with the president. Is the president open to letting the Hispanics, who overwhelmingly voted for him, have their own siesta fiesta on the White House lawn, opposed to the fancy, you know we don't need fancy-shmancy, you can give us the backyard and we'll fill it all in and have our own fiesta. Is the president open to that?"
"Leavitt noted the current construction taking place at the White House and said the event would be back in the planning stages once the government reopens. I can't personally unilaterally promise the South Lawn grounds, she said. We have some construction going on out there, but I do think, I know that everyone here views it as very unfortunate we had to cancel or hopefully just reschedule the Hispanic American Heritage Month event, and it's because we are"
Bianca Gracia, a Latinos for Trump co-founder and Newsmax contributor, interrupted a White House press briefing to call for a 'siesta fiesta' on the South Lawn after a Hispanic Heritage Month event was postponed. Gracia accused Democrats of choosing 'illegals' over hardworking Hispanic Americans and asked whether President Trump would allow a backyard celebration for Hispanics who overwhelmingly supported him. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt expressed surprise and clarified she did not know Gracia. Leavitt cited ongoing construction on the South Lawn and said she could not unilaterally promise the grounds, noting the event could return to planning once the government reopens.
