"Before I say thanks to God, I'm going to say ICE out. We're not savage. We're not animals. We're not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love."
"I'm up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant. I'm a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated."
Bad Bunny won Best Música Urbana Album at the 2026 Grammys for Debí Tirar Más Fotos. He said "ICE out" onstage and emphasized that immigrants are human and American, rejecting dehumanizing labels. His album is the second all-Spanish album nominated for Album of the Year; the first was his own Un Verano Sin Ti. He will headline the Super Bowl halftime show the following week. Other winners echoed immigrant themes, including Olivia Dean, who identified as a granddaughter of an immigrant and described herself as a product of bravery deserving celebration.
