"They shot her, like, cause she wouldn't open her car door. There's video of it too."
"I had to walk away because I have young kids, and ICE is everywhere over t"
On January 7, 37-year-old Renee Good was shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer Jonathan Ross while she and her wife were legally observing ICE activity in their Minneapolis neighborhood. Video shows agents approaching the SUV Good drove and Ross firing through the window as she turned the car away. Bystanders filmed the incident and multiple 911 calls began around 9:38 a.m.; paramedics arrived about four minutes later. Good was alive but unresponsive on arrival, with blood on her face and torso, and suffered two right-chest wounds, a left-arm wound, and a possible head wound. Paramedics ceased resuscitation at 10:30 a.m. The shooting prompted large protests against ICE, and the administration says Ross acted in self-defense, claiming Good tried to run him over and that he sustained injuries; video shows him walking away.
